Since my youth, I'm fascinated by photography and its possibilities of expression. I put my focus on landscape photography: the topography and moods, interesting perspectives, structures, patterns, reductions and abstractions.
And – of course – in black and white!
Because:
Don't shoot postcards – buy postcards!

The Königssee in the Berchtesgaden Alps, seen from the Eagle's Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) – could it be a postcard?

I prefer black and white for my landscape photographs. If you have already visited the photographed places, you will have other memories. Perhaps you will miss the colors.
However, my intention is to show a landscape, the way I see it.
And please note: "The way I see it." –
Not: "The way they are."
Landscape photography is not reproduction of reality, not journalism!
Remember Anselm Adams:
"You don't take a photograph, you make it."

Here is the picture in black and white:
Obviously not a postcard – which one do you like?
Thanks for watching my portfolio!
